Job description:
PROVE is rapidly growing business and requires a keen, hardworking experienced Electrical Engineer to help us continue our expansion. Our business works within a multitude of industries from water and wastewater, quarry and recycling, material handling (conveyors), CNC builds and relocations, etc.
Job Responsibilities :
- Preparation of Government tenders:
- Responsible for continuous market scanning of prospective tenders
- Working with our Industrial Electricians to forecast labour and materials.
- Preparation of the entire tender package
- Provide technical consultation in regard to:
- AS/NZS 61439, AS/NZS 3000 and AS/NZS 3008
- Prepare and review electrical designs acting as the Registered Electrical Engineer.
- Managing projects through to completion, enforcing project timelines and budgets.
- Management of the current team, coordinating and delegating tasks to project staff, ensuring work is performed according to specifications and ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001. quality standards.
- Liaise internally with Team Manager, Electricians, Engineers and Office Manager.
- Liaise externally with customers and suppliers by phone, email and on site.
- Liaise with clients on project requirements.
- Prepare for and attend tender interviews.
- Update of database including tender win/loss worksheet to identify and report on tender status.
- Manage procurement requirements for orders on projects.
- Attend project sites as required to resolve any construction issues or disputes in relation to the contract of works.
- Solve technical issues and find solutions for project requirements.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of product specifications and applications.
